We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asphalt Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Glenn O. Hawbaker. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily checks, inspections, and routine maintenance on our asphalt plant equipment. Your strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily checks and inspections of asphalt plant equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions, using your knowledge of asphalt plant operations and equipment
- Provide assistance and support to other maintenance team members as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operation of the plant
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous equipment repair experience preferred
- Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and extreme temperatures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear personal protective equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
