Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the preventive upkeep and repair of essential tools and equipment. This role is critical in ensuring optimal performance and reliability within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to uphold equipment functionality.
  • Assist in the setup and repair of various tools and machinery.
  • Provide on-demand service support and manage work order requests for both wet and dry processing in cleanroom environments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of preventive maintenance, work orders, tool calibration, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform necessary repairs on toolset-related components as required.
  • Participate in waste and recyclable material collection initiatives.
  • Ensure the maintenance of facilities to support a safe and clean working environment.
  • Help develop and manage documentation for spare parts and preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance of purchased equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance or related role.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and adjusting machine programs.
  • Experience in Class 7 or Class 8 cleanroom environments is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to waist.
  • Skilled in servicing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing aspects of manufacturing equipment.
  • Prior training or certification in forklift operation, OSHA standards, and hazardous materials safety is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work in high-noise environments as necessary.

Preferred Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Vocational or technical education is preferred.

Training Requirements:

  • On-the-job training will be provided as needed.
