Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resource Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the local HR team for assigned locations or functional areas. This position is responsible for administering employee records, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and execute HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leaves, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, engagement, health and safety, and HR training.
- Develop and maintain employee partnerships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Provide cross-functional HR support for multiple departments as applicable based on assigned location or functional area.
- Resolve basic to complex problems by leveraging HR knowledge, business knowledge, and employee partnerships.
- Engage in HR Workstream projects, community outreach, employee engagement, and other initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by reviewing policies and practices and recommending best practices as needed.
- Remain current with HR trends, employment laws, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience or HS Diploma/GED and 6+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Master's degree.
- PHR or SPHR Certification.
- SHRM Certification.
- People leadership experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- SAP experience.
- Union experience, including Collective Bargaining.
- Experience working for a company with transportation, such as DOT or JJ Keller.
- Experience working in a food and/or beverage company.
