Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical services, ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions, and promoting patient health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Expert Clinical Services: Conduct Drug Utilization Review, Final Quality Assurance, and ensure compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Ensure Prescription Accuracy: Verify prescriptions, ensure accuracy, and appropriateness, and provide counseling to patients.
- Promote Patient Health: Provide healthcare counseling, assist with medical-related issues, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Supervise Support Staff: Supervise and train pharmacy associates, and assume management responsibility over the entire pharmacy as needed.
- Maintain Pharmacy Security: Ensure the security and integrity of the pharmacy department.
- Interact with Physicians: Collaborate with physicians to gain information on patients and prescriptions, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Pharmacy or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D).
- License: Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state for which you are applying.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
- Competitive Pay: $70.00 per hour.
