Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication therapy management and health education.
  • Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
  • Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and patient experience.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
