Position Overview:

As a Sanitation Supervisor at Foster Farms, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our production environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the sanitation processes and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $18.05 per hour + $0.50 shift premium per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize high-pressure hoses to effectively clean and rinse machinery and components, ensuring a sanitary workspace.
2. Manage the cleaning schedule, receive assignments, gather necessary supplies, and don required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before commencing operations.
3. Prepare machinery for sanitation, removing materials from machines and floors, and disposing of them in designated containers.
4. Disassemble machinery as needed, loosening screws, belts, and other components to facilitate thorough cleaning.
5. Assist in training new employees through hands-on guidance and evaluations, fostering a knowledgeable workforce.
6. Conduct inventories of cleaning supplies and chemicals, preparing reports for management as necessary.
7. Utilize compressed air tools to blow down production equipment and machinery, maintaining operational efficiency.
8. Prepare cleaning solutions using titration methods and Quadexx systems, troubleshooting equipment and coordinating with maintenance when required.
9. Remove residues from machine parts, ensuring all components are adequately cleaned and sanitized.
10. Apply appropriate cleaning solutions, scrub surfaces, and ensure all tools and equipment are dried and reassembled properly.

End of Shift Duties:
At the conclusion of your shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping tasks, and complete necessary documentation. Be prepared to assume lead responsibilities when required.
