Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of exhaust nozzle components, ensuring compliance with business standards and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement design solutions, leveraging expertise in finite element analysis and 3D modeling.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting technical data and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on exhaust nozzle design.
  • US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level, with the ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
  • Experience with finite element analysis software, such as ANSYS, and 3D modeling tools, such as Unigraphics/NX.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and ability to read and create drawings.
  • Passion for the aviation industry and commitment to advancing the state-of-the-art.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 4-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on exhaust nozzle design.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level.
  • Experience with design, analysis, and manufacturing of high-precision or turbomachinery components.
  • Knowledge of metals and high-temperature composites, with experience in design, analysis, and manufacturing.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently organize and prioritize efforts.
