Lead Engineer, Fan Rotor Mechanical Design

Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer to lead the design and development of fan rotor mechanical systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing mechanical design and analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in fan rotor design.
Key Responsibilities- Execute design and analysis of fan rotor systems, applying engineering principles and adhering to business standards and practices.
- Develop and maintain technical data, including documentation and presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve challenges and develop action plans to drive project success.
- Stay current with the latest technical developments and internal processes, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant mechanical design engineering position.
- US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level (prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship).
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 4-5 years of experience in relevant mechanical design engineering position.
- Active US Government Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS.
- Knowledge of 3D Modeling software, preferably Unigraphics/NX.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, finite element analysis, and 3D modeling software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the aviation industry and a desire to drive innovation and improvement in fan rotor design.
