Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle systems, including air conditioning, electrical, and suspension systems
  • Work with customers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of diagnostic software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
