We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Mount Sinai Brooklyn. As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing quality nutrition care and education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional status of patients and develop personalized nutrition care plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Precept dietetic interns and provide feedback on their performance.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- 1-2 years of experience in clinical nutrition or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
