As an Outpatient Primary Care Doctor at AMA, you will have the opportunity to rediscover the joy of practicing medicine in a primary care setting with a smaller patient panel.
Our patient-centric care team approach allows you to focus on delivering personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize managed care processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient utilization of lab, radiology, and extended service providers.
- Complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Abstract medical documentation for hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted Florida Medical License
- Valid DEA
