The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Grand Living. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our communities, providing a high level of service that reflects our company's values and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the overall resident experience by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the community
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing common areas, resident apartments, and other facilities
  • Assist with laundry and linen services, ensuring that all linens and uniforms are clean and properly stored
  • Restock supplies and amenities, such as toiletries and cleaning products
  • Collaborate with the Director of Environmental Services to ensure that all community standards, processes, and procedures are met

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, with excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
