Staff RN ED Full Time Split Shift Evening/Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their care.
- Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- Develop and modify individualized plans of care, utilizing standards of care developed by Steward Health Care.
- Apply knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Initiate and coordinate patient teaching, integrating, delegating, and coordinating patient care using an interdisciplinary approach.
- Delegates responsibilities for care, when applicable, and makes assignments according to the skills of the caregiver.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions, according to established policy and procedure of Steward Health Care.
- Demonstrate an ability to plan and supervise other patient caregivers in providing patient care on the unit, while functioning as a professional role model.
- Administer medication and perform treatments, utilizing principles of aseptic technique, according to established policy and procedure of Steward Health Care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- MA RN License.
- BLS and/or ACLS required.
- Additional certification required where applicable.
