We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage pharmacy operations, including supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions and insurance claims.
- Lead performance management of pharmacy technicians, including training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain and enhance current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
