MRI Technologist Job Description

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed and maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
  • Provide training and technical expertise to new associates

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and patient-centered skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols
