Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

The Director, Cybersecurity is responsible for leading the global IT Security organization, including Systems Security, Security Engineering, Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security Operations. This position provides direction and strategy for corporate Security & Compliance, manages capital and operational Security & Compliance budgets, and negotiates contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides direction and strategy for the Global Cybersecurity organization
• Manages a team of cybersecurity professionals and vendors to support endpoint security, Governance/Risk/Compliance, Email, E-Commerce security, and SOC services
• Oversees the engineering of security solutions for Claire's corporate and retail environment
• Responsible for Security project and operational budgets
• Manages vendors, including contract creation, negotiation, and delivery
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with business leaders and vendor partners
• Plans and tracks Security & Compliance initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time and in budget
• Optimizes processes and seeks opportunities for improvement and savings
• Stays engaged with latest security technologies and methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
• 10+ years' experience in cybersecurity
• 5+ years in a leadership role with increasing responsibilities
• Experience planning, implementing, and operating Security initiatives
• Familiar with Access Management, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Endpoint detection & response, SOC/SIEM
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to efficiently manage a team and multiple concurrent projects
• Verifiable track record of effective technical leadership, including strategic thinking and successful project execution
• Familiar with designing and building Security services
• Experience managing multi-million $$$ budgets
