Job Summary

This position is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to students in a safe and healthy environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for providing high-quality food and dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food according to menus and recipes, ensuring correct portion sizes and presentation.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of equipment and work areas, and dishwashing.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and local health department requirements for safe food handling.
  • Comply with all client location security protocols and guidelines.
  • Check and store incoming supplies, and follow assigned break schedules.
  • Attend all mandatory in-service programs and perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.
  • 1 year professional food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment

The work is performed primarily in the kitchen and on the serving line, with exposure to extreme temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels.
