Job Summary

Precision Industrial Contractors is seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up and maintaining forms to hold concrete in place
  • Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for any issues before pouring concrete
  • Directing the casting of concrete with the truck driver
  • Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a variety of tools
  • Monitoring the effects of weather on the curing process
  • Applying sealing and hardening components to the concrete
  • Safely operating power vibrators to compact the concrete
  • Molding and constructing expansion joints using specialized tools
  • Polishing the surface using a power surfacing machine
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a concrete laborer or mason
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
  • Ability to kneel for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hand-held and power tools, including power vibrators and polishers
  • Able to work shifts, including nights and public holidays as required
