We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to oversee our enthusiastic dietary team, fostering enjoyable and fulfilling programs.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct all initial, change of condition, annual, and quarterly nutritional assessments, along with the MDS and Care Plan in accordance with regulations and company policies.
  2. Engage with patients and/or their families to gather dietary histories.
  3. Evaluate the dietary needs of each patient admitted to the facility and collaborate with the attending physician to develop appropriate diet plans.
  4. Assist the Food Service Director in executing and clarifying departmental policies and procedures.
  5. Review and modify menus as outlined in the Diet Manual.
  6. Draft and authorize all therapeutic diets not included in the cycle menu based on physician orders, and guide staff on the correct service of these diets.
  7. Conduct periodic visits to patients to assess meal quality, preferences, and satisfaction.
  8. Oversee the ordering of supplements, snacks, and meals, incorporating input from dietary, nursing, and therapy departments.
  9. Document monthly on high-risk patients, including those experiencing significant weight loss, tube feeding, dialysis, and wound care.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, along with an internship.
  2. Successful completion of the Registration Examination for Dietitians and possession of a current registration ID through the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  3. Valid state license or certification as required.
  4. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
