Job Title: SAP & SuccessFactors HR / Systems Solution Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP & SuccessFactors HR / Systems Solution Developer to join our team at New York Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our Enterprise Technology organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Human Resource systems and associated vendor applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices for HR systems and vendor applications.
  • Collaborate with others to solve complex problems and exercise judgment to identify innovative solutions.
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations, to ensure project deliverables are accomplished on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge in assigned functional domain(s), including SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Organizational Management, and Personnel Administration modules.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a systems development and/or technical design position and BS Degree or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to acquire and maintain technical skills and knowledge in assigned functional domain(s).
  • Experience working in cloud-based or off-premise environments, packaged applications, and onshore/offshore resourcing models.
  • Deep understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Organizational Management, and Personnel Administration modules, as well as experience with HR specific ABAP development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SuccessFactors training and certification.
  • Experience with Boomi integrations, including vendor feeds, custom feeds to/from SuccessFactors and SAP, and custom feeds using the Dell Atomsphere API.
  • Implementation and support experience with SAP's / SF's Personnel Administration iFlow, Org Structure iFlow, and Org Assignment iFlow.
  • Knowledge of/experience with full SuccessFactors BizX suite, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Performance Mgmt, and Learning.
