About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support in a variety of job duties under the direct supervision of an RN or Mental Health Professional Therapist.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop and modify treatment care plans.
  • Observe and report on patient conditions, and provide milieu management for patients with behavioral health conditions and illness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Science fields (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or other related field).
  • Two years of experience in an acute or residential inpatient psychiatric facility, or alternative behavioral school in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a child or adolescent psychiatric environment.
  • Experience in an adult psychiatric environment.
