Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attaining expected outcomes and make adjustments as necessary.
- Function as a patient and family advocate, ensuring that patient needs and concerns are addressed.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit.
- Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
- Document patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner, meeting all required and regulatory standards.
- Prioritize patient care in an ongoing manner, adhering to Evidence-Based Practice Standards of Care.
- Practice effective problem identification and resolution, delegating tasks and duties to healthcare team members as necessary.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role.
