Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation of patients.
  • Formulate a patient-specific anesthetic plan of care in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists.
  • Initiate plan of anesthesia care under the supervision of attending anesthesiologists.
  • Monitor and manage patient's status under anesthesia, including airway, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neuromuscular status.
  • Supervise and instruct student nurse anesthetists and allied health personnel in procedures and techniques of general anesthesia.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for each anesthetic administered.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety and quality delivery of anesthesia care.
Requirements:
  • Meets all educational requirements to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and a Florida licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
  • Maintains current Florida Nursing License - Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
  • Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Current National Advanced Practice Certification from a nursing specialty board recognized by the Florida Board of Nursing.
  • Maintains current certification in Healthcare Provider/BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
