Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at the Good Samaritan Society. This dynamic role involves assessing clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems and developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses. You will administer speech and language evaluations, tests or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client/patient/resident needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor disease progression and adjust treatments accordingly.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Licensure in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
