  • Shift Schedule: 10 hours; varying shifts including 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 4p-2a, 8p-6a
  • Annual ER Volume: Approximately 3700 patients
  • Admissions from ED: 70%
  • ED Patient Transfers: Less than 1% per day
  • ED Physicians: 8 in practice
  • Required Procedures: EKG Interpretations
  • Radiology Availability: 24/7 access to CT/MRI/X-ray; Lab/OR/Anesthesia
  • Ambulance Response Time: ASAP to 20 minutes
  • Air Ambulance Response Time: ASAP to 10 minutes
  • Total Number of Beds: 35
  • EMR System: Pulse Check
  • Additional Information: - Not a trauma center - ED staff respond to house codes - Supervision of APPs and EM residents required - Hospitalist team or admitting physician writes admission orders - Deliveries directed to L&D; NICU available on-campus

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid NY License
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (if BE, must be within 0-5 years post-residency)
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination
  • At least one professional reference required
  • Candidates within driving distance preferred
