Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Dedicated Support to VTCs: Provide dedicated support to VTCs attended by Very Important Persons (VIPs).
  • Recommend Upgrades to VTC Systems: Recommend upgrades to VTC systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Manage and Maintain VTC Systems: Manage and maintain VTC systems, including version control and provisioning via a Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) for VTC CODECs.
  • Install and Troubleshoot A/V Equipment: Install and troubleshoot A/V equipment, including flat panel displays, room-based VTC endpoints, projectors, and other equipment.
  • Resolve Issues Down to the Equipment Level: Resolve issues down to the equipment level (black box).
  • Manage and Maintain Daily MSL and Shift Change Procedures: Manage, maintain, and post a daily MSL and shift change procedures.
  • Schedule and Configure Users for DISA GVS and DVS Conferences: Schedule, configure, and connect users to DISA GVS and DVS conferences.
  • Train Designated Personnel on VTC Equipment: Train designated personnel on the operation of VTC equipment.
Requirements
  • 2 Years of Experience with BS/BA or 6 Years with No Degree: 2 years of experience with a BS/BA or 6 years of experience with no degree.
  • Experience Supporting and Troubleshooting VTCs in a Government Environment: Experience supporting and troubleshooting VTCs in a government environment, as well as troubleshooting and fixing VTC hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, ViPers, and secure phones).
  • Ability to Follow Procedures Under Stressful Conditions: Ability to follow procedures under stressful conditions.
  • Good Written and Oral Communications Skills: Good written and oral communications skills.
  • Maintain, Setup, Monitor, and Troubleshoot Video Equipment: Maintain, setup, monitor, and troubleshoot video equipment.
  • Ability to Work Closely with Senior Professionals: Ability to work closely with senior professionals.
  • Theater Specific Individual Readiness Training (TSIRT) Certifications: When required, the contractor will possess Theater Specific Individual Readiness Training (TSIRT) certifications.
  • DoDD M IAT II Certification: Certifications: DoDD M IAT II.
  • TS or Higher Level DoD Security Clearance: A DoD security clearance at the TS or higher level is required.
