Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist Nights 7on/7off to join our team at LifePoint Health in Gallatin, Tennessee.

About the Role: This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care to patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage drug therapy protocols, reviewing and evaluating medication orders to identify and prevent potential or actual drug-related problems.
  • Provide drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, as well as precepting pharmacy students and residents.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows.
  • Evaluate medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry, checking for accuracy after filling by technicians.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree (required)
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision (required)
  • State of Tennessee Pharmacist licensure (required)
  • PGY-1 Residency or BCPS Certification (required)
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) (required within 90 days of hire)

What We Offer: As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist Nights 7on/7off at LifePoint Health, you can expect a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
