Clinical Excellence and Patient Care

At Della Infotech, we are seeking a skilled Vascular Diagnostics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching, and making necessary referrals to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and healthcare team.
  • Promptly complete documentation to ensure an accurate legal record of patient care.
  • Deliver high-quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned units.
  • Utilize a holistic approach to care, considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria.
  • Delegate and provide direction for other healthcare providers and hold them accountable for their involvement in the plan of care.
  • Utilize critical thinking in making independent judgments and maintain responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients.

Development and Patient Education

In this role, you will also be responsible for continuing professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice. This includes assessing and choosing teaching strategies appropriate to the patient's and their families' age-specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn, and level of comprehension. You will also consult appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education and demonstrate knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents, and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in vascular diagnostics is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
