Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with established department techniques and procedures.
  • Assist physicians in the interpretation of technical aspects of completed examinations.
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate patient schedules and procedures for efficient patient flow.
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination during procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARRT registered.
  • Demonstrated ultrasound experience.
  • ARDMS Registered/Eligible.
  • Maintain ARRT or ARDMS CEU requirements.
