Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Westchester Jewish Community Services. As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct clinical care to individuals, families, and groups, including evidence-based therapy, crisis intervention, and intake and screening.
Responsibilities:- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Maintain effective communication with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Represent the agency at community meetings and events.
- Supervise staff or students as assigned.
- Participate in agency committees and special projects.
- Provide emergency and general clinical coverage for the office/clinic.
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
- Possession of or eligible for licensure to practice in New York State (LMSW, LCSW or LMHC).
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic, ideally in a community mental health setting.
- Fluency with and commitment to evidence-based treatments.
- Ability to work with children, adolescents, adults, or families.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to conduct interviews and analyze psychosocial information.
- Strong observational skills for analysis and treatment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
