Position: Fulfillment Operations Area Supervisor

Role Overview:

As the Area Supervisor at ShipBob, you will lead and nurture a team of associates within our fulfillment center. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing operational processes, ensuring a safe workplace, and monitoring team performance and engagement. You will oversee all associates and team leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze weekly work forecasts to determine daily productivity targets that align with overall operational goals.
  • Collaborate with fellow Area Supervisors to ensure balanced labor distribution, maintaining efficiency while achieving objectives.
  • Champion safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to promote a secure work environment for all team members.
  • Identify and implement process improvement strategies using Lean methodologies.
  • Manage a team of warehouse associates to fulfill ShipBob's mission of empowering clients to enhance their online success through exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure all team members receive adequate training and support to focus on their responsibilities effectively.
  • Adhere to all food safety and compliance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Preferred degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of accountability and achieving results.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Classification: Exempt
