Key Responsibilities of the Advanced Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist:
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and computed tomography scans.
  • Perform routine inspections of the imaging environment.
  • Assist with ancillary departmental tasks.
  • Educate patients and healthcare staff on imaging procedures.
  • Uphold professional standards and qualities expected of a radiologic technologist.

The Advanced Radiologic Technologist must complete a probationary period of 90 days prior to commencing CT training.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Currently enrolled in CT educational courses.
  • Possess a valid Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont.
  • Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Maintain current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Achieve CT certification following two years of training.
