Are you a dedicated family medicine physician seeking a stable and flexible work environment in Alaska? Cross Country Locums is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a family medicine physician to join our team at a hospital-owned primary care outpatient facility.

About the Opportunity

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, making it an attractive option for physicians looking to relocate to Alaska. The schedule includes Monday through Friday 8-hour days, with one late day and possibly one Saturday shift per month. However, when working on Saturdays, you can expect a weekday off during the week.

Work Setting

The worksite is a modern hospital-owned primary care outpatient facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and amenities. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a quiet and peaceful work environment with minimal administrative tasks, thanks to a dedicated staff of one RN and one MA. Each office has multiple providers specializing in women's health, FNP, OB, pediatricians, lab, and radiology services, all under one roof.

Scope of Work

Your daily responsibilities will include seeing 8-12 patients, covering all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Our EMR system is Cerner, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals. To ensure your success, we require AK licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and BLS certification.
