Job Overview

Dansources Technical Services is looking for a skilled Software Systems Engineer to contribute to innovative solutions for intricate challenges.

This role will involve supporting various manufacturing sites by implementing alternative approaches for Manufacturing Custom Web Applications, evaluating manufacturing systems, and providing daily assistance for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The selected candidate will leverage their technical skills and business process knowledge to enhance the functionality of Solumina (MES) and Costpoint (ERP).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Document business and system workflows for alternative solutions regarding Manufacturing Custom Web Applications, including any necessary data migration specifications.
  • Facilitate training sessions for user groups on alternative solutions for Manufacturing Custom Web Applications.
  • Offer troubleshooting assistance to users in manufacturing, engineering, production control, supply chain, and quality assurance to resolve daily inquiries.
  • Assist users by reviewing process documentation related to system setup, data creation (such as BOMs and Routings), and the execution of manufacturing transactions through both individual and group training sessions.
  • Conduct system monitoring to assess the progress of MES adoption through data collection and analysis across multiple locations.

A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience may also qualify without a degree.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to quickly grasp systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.

A solid background in customer service is essential, particularly in supporting system users and leading training initiatives.
