Highly Confidential COMSEC Manager

The position of Highly Confidential COMSEC Manager requires an active Secret government clearance and necessitates deployment to a TBD OCONUS location.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Perform receipt and updating of the inventory database when special access control devices and/or COMSEC equipment arrive, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Safety and Distribution: Safeguard and distribute special devices, COMSEC equipment, and materials to work locations, maintaining security protocols and procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Address obsolescence and facilitate repair or disposal of special devices, COMSEC equipment, and materials, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Installation Support: Provide installation support for systems and special devices and perform troubleshooting, ensuring seamless operation.
- Reporting: Compile and submit inventory reports to relevant US agencies, providing timely and accurate information.
- Inventory Updates: Update the inventory status at COCOM meetings, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Submit transfer, destruction, and possession reports to the appropriate USG and/or U.S. DoD office when required, ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Liaison Services: Serve as liaison between host country and controlling authorities, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordination: Coordinate with the ODC for FMS cases for repair or replacement of faulty equipment, streamlining processes.
- Technical Expertise: Provide special inventory and/or COMSEC subject matter expertise for technical investigations, utilizing in-depth knowledge.
- Training and Development: Attend relevant US training or conferences to stay updated on controlled cryptographic items, enhancing professional development.
- Courier Services: Maintain a directed courier card for transport of COMSEC devices and material, ensuring secure transportation.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant COMSEC support experience.
- Active Secret government clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance if required.
- Working knowledge of NISPOM and other relevant DoD security guidance.
- Able to implement/manage industrial security processes/best practice standards.
- Aptitude to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
- Ability to track and conduct COMSEC material inventories.
- Basic knowledge of processing personnel for security clearances.
- Familiarity with Navy Radio systems.
- Knowledge of integration of Crypto systems into existing communication systems.
