This exciting opportunity for a skilled accounting professional with a background in commercial construction involves overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction accounting, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with Foundation Software. They will manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper documentation and timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate job costing records and prepare financial reports.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closings.
  • Use Foundation Software (preferred) for accounting processes, including expense tracking and job cost analysis.
  • Support audits, tax filings, and financial reporting needs.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable within the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Foundation Software (preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
