Position Title: Landscape Construction Project Manager

Overview:

Kentucky Outdoor Living, a prominent landscape construction firm based in Lexington, KY, specializes in creating bespoke outdoor environments. Our mission is to deliver exceptional design-build services throughout the Kentucky region. We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee various projects, including: Landscape Plantings, Outdoor Lighting, Water Features, Paver Patios & Driveways, Outdoor Kitchens, Pergolas, Cabanas, Pools (Vinyl, Fiberglass, Gunite), Decks, Covered Structures, Seasonal Rooms, Artificial Turf / Putting Greens, Retaining Walls, and other custom features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
  • Interpret specifications, including blueprints, to establish construction requirements and plan methodologies.
  • Estimate material and labor needs for project completion.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction personnel.
  • Collaborate with management, other departments, or contractors to address issues and synchronize activities.
  • Coordinate project tasks with other ongoing construction activities.
  • Procure materials or supplies as necessary.
  • Utilize measuring and marking tools to locate, measure, and designate site locations for structures or equipment.
  • Document information such as personnel, production, or operational data on designated forms or reports.
  • Delegate tasks to employees based on specific job requirements.
  • *The company retains the right to modify duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 to 6 years of relevant experience

Compensation:

Salary: $40,000 or commensurate with experience
