As a Production Team Leader at GE Vernova, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement in production functions, coordinating activities to expedite material flow between production areas, and ensuring safety, quality, production, cost control, and continuous improvement objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Manage assigned areas to achieve operational excellence, providing technical support and training to employees, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Lean Initiatives: Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in responsible areas to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Material Management: Ensure accurate charging of materials used in job assembly and maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster strong relationships within the workforce, provide feedback on potential parts shortages, and fill in for production as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate weekly reviews with supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma / GED
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years product knowledge
