Job Overview

The Assistant Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of assigned projects under the guidance of the superintendent. Responsibilities include managing projects to exceed customer expectations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements. This position reports to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project scope, plans, and layouts provided by the Project Manager
  • Assess project specifications, product designs, customer requirements, and performance standards
  • Follow the Project Manager's Pre-Con documentation process
  • Maintain project schedule and monitor progress
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in construction progress
  • Maintain a daily log of activities on-site
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 5+ years in the construction industry
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and knowledge of the N.E.C.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College diploma in construction management or related field
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
