About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Market Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key banking advisor, you will be responsible for prospecting new business and expanding existing relationships with clients. You will engage with CEO and CFO levels of clients to assess their holistic banking needs and provide customized banking insights and solutions. Your ability to identify loan, deposit, and core banking products and services that benefit the client will be essential in driving business growth and establishing a strong reputation in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, attract, and secure new commercial relationships to grow the bank's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) market share.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing differentiating consult, ideas, and options to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop focused strategies for acquiring, retaining, and growing select clients.
  • Develop and maximize established referral networks.
  • Proactively prospect for new clients and identify ways to expand existing relationships in collaboration with Client Solutions Manager and internal partners.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to quickly respond to customer requests and identified needs.
  • Maintain an active prospecting effort and pipeline for consistent production.
  • Stay up-to-date on middle market industrial, economic, and financial situations to inform business development and portfolio management decisions.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-7 years of relevant Middle Market banking experience and/or a proven track record of exceeding performance in developing business in the Middle Market segment and industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing new business, growing market share, and establishing a quality supportive network.
  • Strong knowledge of bank loan, deposit, and core fee income solutions.
  • Excellent relationship management and business development abilities.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong client relationship and internal partnering skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
  • Strong credit acumen (accounting, financial statement, understanding business, and understanding of operational cash flow).
  • Ability to deliver holistic solutions that are both saleable to clients and provide adequate risk management for the bank.

Our Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $85,000.00 to $150,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate will be dependent on a variety of non-discriminatory factors. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
