About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control system solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define advanced applications and modernization solutions by working closely with other Emerson Business Units.
  • Lead engineering activities on multiple projects, evaluating customer specifications for scope definition and generation of work statements.
  • Develop various design documentation, including system architecture and functional design specifications, in accordance with project requirements.
  • Produce bill of materials and coordinate material ordering and delivery with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Develop PLC and HMI/SCADA applications, perform customer FAT and SAT, and provide technical support to the project pursuit team.
  • Standardize application software and develop and improve testing procedures, as well as train customers in systems operations and troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited University or College.
  • 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing control system solutions, with experience in on-site implementation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing PLC control system solutions, experience with PLCs (GE Fanuc experience strongly preferred), and basic understanding of Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, and manufacturing automation.
