Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting the North America Consumer Business Unit (BU) and Research & Development teams in the United States and Canada.

This position will report directly to the North America Director of FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Consumer team with revenue and expense analysis.
  • Track revenue trends and analyze any irregularities.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to the Consumer management team.
  • Develop financial plans and evaluate the validity of management's assumptions.
  • Support functional managers in understanding their expenditures and managing their budgets.
  • Calculate quarterly commissions for the Consumer team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses through established processes.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department and various teams during the monthly closing process.
  • Summarize quarterly outcomes for auditors and Corporate Finance.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation.
  • Engage in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Experience in the software industry is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of financial operations and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and ability to prepare journal entries.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
