Production Manager

At GTECH Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate production activities to meet business metrics and implement Stellantis Production Way (SPW) processes and initiatives.
- Ensure the production plan is met, analyze issues with other roles, and drive continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and throughput.
- Lead the team to improve safety in the area, enforce the use of mandated safety tools and procedures, and ensure a safe workplace.
- Proactively analyze quality KPIs related to the Zone, prioritize quality issues, and guide Team Leaders to resolve them.
- Must be open to any shift. If not, please do not submit.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required.
- Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Goal-oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams.
- Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
- Previous experience working in a union environment.
- Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite software programs.
- Work different shifts and/or work weekends, including overtime.
- Work in hot and/or cold environments.
- Work around heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.
- Wear safety equipment such as safety glasses, sleeves, earplugs, and steel-toed shoes.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time each day.
- Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work in tight or closed-in spaces.
- Regularly climb ladder/man lift/stairs/crawl under vehicles if necessary.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
