Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Customer Success team. This role is open to remote candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality assurance of software produced by the team.
  • Engage closely with the development team throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Develop automated testing solutions and manage bug fixes and backports.
  • Execute quality assessments as project items are completed by software engineers.
  • Facilitate the merge process within GitLab.
  • Contribute significantly to the overall software testing strategy.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software engineering capacity.
  • Proficient in designing production software.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Strong command of JavaScript and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the technologies listed in the job description.
  • Excellent software development skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as mocha, jasmine, and jest.
  • Experience with Python testing frameworks like unittest and pytest.
  • Knowledge of React and functional testing tools like Cypress.
  • Experience with continuous integration systems such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
