Requirements
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Must-Have: Skills in PICU, telemetry, central line care, PICC line management, ICP monitoring, chest tube management, ventilated patient care, and ABG interpretation
Job Description

Work within a Level 2 PICU in an acute hospital setting. No ECMO, open heart surgery, transplants, or CRRT. Function in a Magnet facility recognized for excellence in nursing. Chart using Epic systems. Participate in a team-oriented environment and float within the hospital as needed. Weekend work required; must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Engage in a comprehensive 40-hour orientation. Complete required pre-start modules and annual training as part of onboarding. All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state as necessary. Maintain open communication and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
