We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Wound Healing Center team at Retreat Doctors' Hospital. As a Wound Healing Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and education to patients with complex wounds.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough wound assessments, including wound measurements, cultures, and photography
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide education to patients and their families on wound care and management
- Collaborate with physicians, staff nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Document patient care, education, and communication in accordance with hospital and Wound Healing Center policies
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- At least one year medical/surgical experience
