Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Technician to join our team in Irvine, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Operate all assigned equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production quality and take corrective action as necessary to ensure high-quality products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement programs, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen events, to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training for operators on standard work and trouble-shooting techniques, and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities during machine downtime, and partner with operations, mechanics, and engineers as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of related experience or completion of technical requirements and passing an assessment at an appropriate level.
  • Certifications: Applicable industry or professional certification preferred.
  • Attendance: Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is a production/manufacturing environment with moderate noise intensity. The employee is expected to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
