Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced Converting Supervisor to lead our production team at our Cedar Hill location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plant Management: Commit to maintaining a safe and efficient production environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Leadership: Direct and manage plant floor operations, overseeing production, quality, and other production-related activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, reduced waste, and cost reduction, and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Employee Development: Mentor, train, and develop manufacturing floor employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with employees, managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of company goals, objectives, and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in corrugated/converting operations.
  • Proven technical and leadership ability to utilize structured problem-solving to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated competence to work with minimal supervision, effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the willingness to learn new systems.
