Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional- GI

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Professional- GI is a highly skilled healthcare professional who provides comprehensive patient care in the field of gastroenterology. This individual will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with various gastrointestinal disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as endoscopies and biopsies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in gastroenterology.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Current certification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Experience in gastroenterology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
