Job Summary

To provide high-quality patient care, assess health status, and develop treatment plans in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.
  • Assume a leadership role in developing and implementing nursing care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in primary and acute care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of growth and development principles.
Education & Credentials

Required:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure.
Certifications

Required within 1 year of hire:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Work Schedule & Location

Varies, with a 72-hour workweek at Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.
